Edith Marx is Shelby Marx's grandmother who got out from the hospital to support her granddaughter and defended her when Carly and mostly Sam insulted her during a press conference and in the resulting conflict, Carly accidentally tackled Edith to the floor, much to Shelby's anger who thought that Carly intentionally pushed her down in the episode, iFight Shelby Marx and led her to attack Carly for real during their fight.
