This was a spur-of-the-moment thought and I just wanted to propose it as an idea because I figured it wouldn't hurt to mention it, and flawed though the idea may be it does have some merit in other places that we should weigh out.
I got on here and it was taking a thousand years to scroll down to the comments on the Creddie page, and I had an idea for making the page cleaner. What if we used tabs, like some people use in their profiles, on pairing pages and other pages that are very long? Just a thought. I know it would make editing a huge pain in the tail, which is obviously a major drawback, but the larger pages don't change a whole lot anymore and it would clean it up for reading or scrolling down a lot. Also, it might work better on mobile because it wouldn't take ten years to load the page and then even longer to scroll down. It would inhibit editing considerably, but it would look pretty sleek, at least in my mind.
I'm honestly not sure. :o I know how to do them, but I'm not always active because I'm in college right now. :o
It's pretty easy to figure out, although the process itself can take a little while to edit. :o Once it gets fixed it looked very neat and orderly. My page is organized like that, and someone taught me (DoubleCross or SunriseDaisy, I think...) very quickly. :o It makes a lot of sense; it just can be a little more time-consuming than a regular edit. :o
Okay, it would look something like this, but obviously we could play with it and play with the individual pages (maybe make tabs on the "moments" tab itself and differentiate it by season or something, just so it isn't so much scrolling):
Hola, my name is Nic and I'm a member of the Wikia Community Development team. Recently our Special:LicensedVideoSwap tool has been updated with a list of new content for your wiki. For more information on this, please view here. If you would like assistance in swapping these videos, feel free to ask.
I know you and 3cooldog92 have a bad history, and maybe I'm not the best person to ask you this, but I was wondering if you would consider unblocking him here. He is very sorry for the things he's said in the past, and he's actually matured quite a bit in the last few months. EpicFork and Cc71 found him fit to be administrator on Sam&Cat Wiki, and he is doing the job quite well. He's ready to publicly apologize to you and Alica as well as the community. Would you consider allowing him to post on his own message wall? Thank you very much, my friend.
I know Eric wants to have a discussion about why I blocked him on my Twitter. He uses disrespectful language towards other users. While what he said to me on wasn't rude at all. I don't really want to associate with him. Call it rude. Yes it is, but my twitter is my personal account I can choose whom I wish or want to speak to him, and I just don't want to associate myself with him on with my personal social media account. Here it's fine, but not on Twitter because I choose to
I can block who I want to block on Twitter it's my Twitter nothing to do with the iCarly wiki.
What I told Eric on the Seddie wiki
And I just told him if he's so mad about it I'll unblock him but I really don't wanna tweet him. Perhaps it was not right to handle it that way but I just don't want to tweet or associate with him on my personal Twitter
Thx :) I didn't know he was inactive her, but I did know he has Twitter. We follow each other. Because this more of iCarly wiki, I thought it was better to contact him rather than Twitter (before I knew he wasn't active here)
