    Rowan banned me and Lion for no reason, but for infinite, with no proof. He only banned us because we annoy him, which isn't a valid reason. (see this thread)

      No, we use lots of wiki's, here included.and definetly have something against being banned unfairly.

    Dear Admins,

    My name is Helena Dare-Edwards, I am a PhD student at the University of East Anglia (UK), in the school of Film Television and Media studies working on a thesis about girlhood, digital culture and tween fandom. I am now in my second year of study and my supervisors are Dr Su Holmes and Dr Yvonne Tasker.

    As part of my research I would be very interested in interviewing you or speaking with you in some form or another. It would be wonderful to be able to include some of your thoughts, comments, feelings or otherwise in my thesis. Of course, you have first-hand experience and knowledge about fan activity and any time you could spare to talk with me would be greatly appreciated. So, I'd like to ask you a couple of questions:

    Firstly, as a fan yourself, I presume, I am interested in your experience as an admin at this site; your observations of other fans and their participation in the wiki community

    Secondly, as part of a very active fan community online I am intrigued about where you see yourself within this; whether taking on the role of admin was part of your identification as a fan of iCarly

    Thirdly, having spent some time on this website I wonder whether it would be at all possible to access any archives from the website, either of fan chat, comment pages or otherwise. Please be assured that all names in my work will be fully anonymised.

    Please go through the edits of Peter Green. There are a lot of article comments that are about composers and actors that have no bearing on iCarly. He has been spamming this kind of information on various wikis during the past year, with a lot of it being related to the movie 12 Angry Men, which was seen in one episode on a previous Miranda Cosgrove series called Drake & Josh. In fact, if you look at the edit history of this article comment, you'll see that he keeps changing which actors he wants to spam in his comment.

    I have also cleaned up some of the other spam that was showing up on the pictures he uploaded. Same kind of thing as on other wikis: the actors being listed are unrelated to what the picture is about. In this case, the pictures are about Miranda Cosgrove, so they don't need to be deleted (except for one that is a duplicate), but right now, they are not being used.

      Peter Green decided to come over to one of my wikis today and upload more pictures with spam descriptions in them. He has now been permanently blocked there and on one other where I am also an admin, with possibly more as a preventative measure since he's been doing this for a year now on at least a dozen wikis and on Wikipedia.

      I am going to go through and clean up everything he's done here. Some pictures will be re-uploaded with a new name to help get rid of the spam in the history. All of his spam article comments and pictures will be marked for deletion. Please check Category:Candidates for deletion tomorrow for what I've flagged. Since I cannot edit anyone else's article comments, I will put the deletion notice in a response to his spam comment.

      And now I see he has been back to the Drake & Josh Wiki in the past month to continue spamming/vandalizing there. I thought it was about a dozen wikis he has been to. It looks like it's closer to four dozen and he's doing the same thing on pretty much all of them.

      You may also want to put a block on 216.220.23.233 if you did not select "block any IPs this user tries to edit from" when you put the block on his account. That will slow down any further vandalism by him.

    After my recent immaturity I was banned from chat for 1 week on 11th August @ 2:17 UK Time. Now it's 18th August and 2:44 so I was hoping you would un-block me. I really do promise never to be an idiot on chat again!!!
