Honestly, I'm growing a teensy bit concerned.....
If you guys can think back far enough, you'll recall that the first two seasons of Zoey 101 were awesome and amazing! Season 3, on the other hand, was kinda iffy in comparison. Season 4 was abysmal. You may wonder: What exactly went wrong? Well, as much as it pains me to say this, basically, what happened was that Dan started to work on iCarly. As he started to devote himself more and more to his new project, the decline and eventual demise of my beloved Zoey 101 was inevitable. :( It was simply never the same, afterward.
The reason I bring this up is because this is what I'm beginning to see happening to iCarly. Only this time, instead of iCarly killing off Zoey 101, it is Victorious on the hinge of destroying iCarly. As others have been saying, Dan seems to really like Victorious, but it is hard to do two projects at once. Therefore, Dan may unintentionally start to neglect iCarly, and give it less importance. I do not want to see what happened to Zoey 101 happen to iCarly. I pray that I am wrong in making this assumption. Unfortunately, I'm already starting to see a slight decline in the quality of iCarly's fourth season. Normally, it doesn't take long for shows to take a tumble once they have started. In the worst case scenario, Dan may decide to abandon iCarly, altogether. This, most likely, will not happen, but Dan truly does seem "in love" with Victorious, as of right now. I sincerely hope juggling two shows at once will not be a major struggle, because if it turns out to be too difficult, iCarly will most likely be the first one to ditch. However, I have faith in Dan, and he knows that iCarly is one of his most popular shows to date. (It's the one thing keeping Nickelodeon alive! Besides Spongebob.) Meanwhile, Victorious has more mixed reviews. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy Victorious, very much, but I don't want to see things go down the way they did almost 5 years earlier.
Thoughts? Comments? I realize I made this all very dramatic, but I was in one of my moods. :D Discuss below.
