If you notice, Jennette McCurdy NEVER promoted iStart a Fan War on her Twitter, nor in interviews. Kudos to her for staying out of the huge mess. Is it possible that this was not a favorite episode of hers? That totally weirded me out, as Miranda and Nathan were slightly promoting it, while Dan tweeted about it vastly.

Either way, I feel 'eh' about iStart a Fan War, not about Seddie vs. Creddie. In the message, it was implied that the fans, who are meant to portray the fandom, have no lives because all they do is ship their respective pairing. While it likely was an anecdote, fans are NOT taking a liking to Dan's moral. Some fans even are upset that he presented one, as he always preached the 'no preaching' thing.

There were some HILARIOUS moments in the episode, but fell short due to Gibby's plot line. I'm sorry, but it generated zero laughs from me, and I'm pretty susceptible to having fits of laughter. After a while the fighting seemed to grow a bit stale, to the point where I felt the episode wasn't moving for a good five minutes.

If I had to rate it, I'd say I give it a 7. I completely expected the trio to react how they did to the crazy fans, but I would hope that Dan doesn't consider this to be the masses. Then, we'd see some SPAM and CAM. So in terms of properly representing the fandom, censorship ftl.

Anywho, what do you guys think?
